ReadIT is a simple text reading service that allows for municipalities, government agencies, organizations and businesses that have websites to increase access to their information. With the ReadIT on your website, all visitors have the text read by of synthetic speech.

Why should we use ReadIT?
|
|
Today, approximately 25% of the Swedish population have difficulty in absorbing the vast content posted on the web. This may be due to dyslexia, poor vision or maybe a motor disability. Studies have also revealed that many immigrants find it easier to understand speech than text.
Thanks to ReadIT , it makes it easier to gain access to information on the Web.

How does it work?
|
In the simplest possible way, site administrators have very little to configure when using our services. The service is completely web-based and requires no local installation. You get a URL address and a short paragraph Code from Insipio.The code is inserted in the main page and is linked to our servers.

Need anything to be done?
|
|
Now, when this is done, your website will be connected to ReadIT and, in principle, ready to use. But you can with a simple configuration of the service, you can control what you want to be read on a page.
When someone visits the website click on the link person. A pop-up window with a media player pops up. If the user selected a text to load this up. Otherwise, read all the text on Page or the text you through the configuration chosen for reading.

What voices are included?
|
For Swedish sites we use ReadIT voice Elin from Acapela. For English sites we use the voice Lucy by default.
For customers who need other languages we currently offer a range of languages, including Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and U.S. English.
